7 Easy steps to achieve your new Outdoor Lifestyle

Owner Nathan Spargo will meet with you at your property to discuss your design requirements and vision. Nathan will prepare your quotation on our 3D drawing program in real time, allowing you to adjust sizing and be given an immediate price (Outback® Range), with the advantage of allowing you to work within your budget. We are also able to provide finance. Please discuss this with Nathan if it is an option you wish to explore.

After acceptance of your quotation, we need a copy of your site plan (your property sitting on the block of land with all dimensions showing) along with a copy of your certificate of title. We will supply you with a council building application form to sign by all property owners, with the possibility of further documents being required depending on your local council requirements.

Your contract of sale will also need to be signed by all owners. Once all documents are received and a deposit paid we will submit your building application with your local council. We endeavour to get details off to your respective council within 48 hours providing we have the required information.

On average a building permit council application will take 4-6 weeks in council. During this time, we will request updates from the council to make sure all is on track. Should we be required to submit a planning application to counci or receive neighbour approval,  additional information and time will be required for council to approve your patio.

Once your building/planning permit has been received, your next progress payment is required and a final site measure will be organised before materials can be manufactured. This is usually completed a few days after we receive your building approval. We will call to arrange a suitable time and generally require half an hour to confirm the finer details with you. This may also be the time you wish to confirm colours if you have not already done so.

Materials are then ordered with our suppliers. Generally, they require 10-15 working days for fabrication and delivery of the materials.

Installation of your patio will generally be a few days after delivery of your materials. The average patio takes 2-4 days to install, depending on the size and the profile. Nathan will be able to give you an indication of the timeframe when he does the final site measure. Quite often our clients’ have other renovations such as flooring done at the same time as their patio so we endeavour to work closely with other trades people to ensure a smooth process for our clients.

The balance of your account is due upon practical completion of your new patio. An invoice will be sent to you via email. Our preferred payment method is EFT however we can accommodate payment by cash or cheque.

You will receive a warranty card for the Stratco Outback® range which will need to be filled out and sent off to our supplier Stratco. Most importantly - Enjoy your new outdoor living area and remember to give it regular maintenance to get the best lifespan out of it.
